Question Any concerns about running 2x EVGA GTX 1070 FTW Ultra Silent in SLI mode?

I'm interested in buying the EVGA graphics cards and running them in SLI mode. They are 2.5 slots in width. What MB should I buy for this setup?

Reconsider your plan for sli.
You will likely game better with a single good card.

Dual gpu is prone to stuttering and screen tearing.
Many games do not support dual GPU.

Past that, you will spend more on a sli capable motherboard, a stronger psu, a better ventilated case

I second this comment. Much better off buying a better gpu.
SLI has always had its issues for gaming. There are plenty of videos on youtube that show in some cases fps can be lower when in SLI config!
There are exceptions but generally is never worth it.
Unless your rich and have to have two rtx titans in with nvlink (SLI) to flex
