any difference in batteries i pick for wireless mouse?

I am going to order a Logitech G602 and at same time get some new batteries for it.

I haven't paid attention to batteries in years so i have no idea if there are pros/cons to a specific kind.

anyone have any suggestions?

yes. do not get less than alkaline batteries. Heavy duty zinc oxide batteries will not last very long and are the cheapest and should be avoided.
Alkaline batteries will last longer, fewer battery changes. you could also look at rechargeable. buy once use many times. rechargeables will have a shorter life than alkalines but they can be reused.
