Hi all,

I've been able to get an SSD working as my bootable drive (thanks to this forum).

I was planning on using the old HDD for storage once I got it cloned and replaced with the SSD, but now I'm thinking about keeping it around should I ever need to boot from it and buying another drive for internal storage.

Any reason to not get an SSD (other than the ability to get much more space for the money with an HDD)?

I will be capturing a lot of old DV tapes to the HD and also doing After Effects and general video editing, so having the speed would be nice.
