is there any easy way to determine which direction the case pins connect to the mb? i am always connecting them and continually turing the case on and off to determine if they are correct.

the only ones that matter are diodes, and audio connectors or somthing but thats a different story. the pin orientation should be the same for each connector of any type. pin one is always on the same side on each connector. if you find pin one on a connector facing the right direction, you know which pin is number one on each connector.

well the hdd, power light is an led
and the header does not indicate pin one
which i assume is the lead with the arrow
i just wish the case manufactures and mb manufactures
would standardize teh header so you just plug it in
it is not that bad i just reverse the wires until everything works ok
i just feel like i`m going to bust the pc turning it on and off so much

Most cases have a common color for the ground wires to the LED's, either black or white. The colored side is positive, and your manual should tell you + and/or -
