Hi everyone

I'm building a computer for the first time, primarily for gaming. The maximum budget is £1200.

With the help of the PCPartPicker forums I've got a parts list together, which I figured I'd share here to get some more opinions. Anything I could be doing better? Please let me know.
In particular, I'm unsure of which case to go for so advice about that would be greatly appreciated- the one currently in the parts list looks fine to me but I'm not convinced it's the best way to get good value for money.

Many thanks, adgjl

Everything about all those components it pretty much what i would recommend. The case is also great, looks nice, has good airflow (though it could be better because of front and top panels blocking the airflow it might not perform as well, but again i think top ones can be removed for better airflow). All in all, you will have a nice piece of machine there :)

Yes it's a solid build from top to bottom. £10-15 more would get you a better motherboard though if you're into overclocking. The difference is not THAT huge though.

That's good to know, thanks :)

I was told that the the CPU Cooler will only allow me to overclock slightly and I'm not sure if I will even do that, so I think I'll leave the motherboard as it is. Thanks for the suggestion though :)
