Any Games Lag on Windows ME

Hey there guys, I'm having some troubles running any games on Windows ME. Recently, I upgraded my old laptop from Windows 98SE to ME, and while upgrading the operation system and installing the appropriate drivers seemed to go well, I noticed that games now lag or run not as smoothly as they did when Windows 98 was initially installed. The graphics drivers I have installed are the NVIDIA GeForce2 Go Display drivers. If somebody could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Stability wise you downgraded not upgraded. I'd go back to 98Se or go to Win 2000 or XP. Win Me was an absolutely horrible os that was fraught with problems.
