Hi, I have been looking for some parts, and I think I have come up with a decent build, I am looking to play next gen games and also current gen games. I like windows 8 so I am not going to get Windows 7. I didn't want to cheap out on the processor of course, but the graphics card, I don't know if I should upgrade to a Radeon HD 7950 or stick with the Radeon HD 7870?

I already have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse and all, but I don't know if this can handle games, this is my first build and I do not want to goof it up and not get the performance I am looking for. I came up with this build all on my own, so please help me out and give me some suggestions. I am going to use the PC for gaming, so keep that in mind.

My monitor is a 1080p one, so can this build play most games at High/Ultra settings at a good FPS?

Games I want to play:
BF4
Watch Dogs
Splinter Cell: Blacklist
Minecraft
GTA V
GTA IV
Arma II Mod: DayZ
Counter Strike: Source
GMod
Skyrim

Well since you can upgrade to a 7950 for just $9 more, I don't see why not:

What if I play on a 720p monitor, I have one of them also, I just prefer a 1080p. But can I play on ultra on a 720p monitor?

You could even switch to a nice modstream pro for $5 less :) :
