So i am an RPG lover and this has been pretty bland year for RPG's.
Let me be honest, i pre-ordered Mass Effect Andromeda digital deluxe edition (yeah i know shouldn't preorder) but i couldn't see anything else interesting for me so i bought it anyway. I played it quite a bit (origin logs 127 hours which is nothing compared to what i have in other rpg's) but never finished it. Most of the time spent was in multiplayer actually.
Now i can't seem to find any great rpg coming anytime soon. Let's see some of the most famous AAA rpg's and when can we expect them:
Cyberpunk 2077 ---> Not coming for atleast another 1.5 years (no reveal yet and cdprojektred is completely silent on it)
Witcher ------> Lol not gonna happen anytime soon even IF we ever get another witcher
Elderscrolls -----> Nothing from bethesda yet even though it has been 6 years since skyrim
Fallout -----> Again no where near as we will get elderscrolls first and atleast another 3 years after that we may get another one.
Dragon Age Mike Laidlaw kinda confirmed its in development (very early) so expectations should be early or late 2019
Divinity Original Sin 2 Already played 1st chapter to the death and it will finally release this year as complete game.
So far future for RPG lovers look grim for the next couple of years. If cyberpunk comes out next year then it will be enough to last 4-6 months alone for me atleast.
I am literally tired of playing old rpgs like dragon age origins/skyrim over and over again and want another quality rpg where i can spend hundreds of hours (thousands in case of elderscrolls).
What are you playing these days? I am simply killing time with Civilization V/VI mostly on deity with mods but would really like to play some great looking games on my 1080 Ti + 4K monitor.
Might as well start another playthrough of Dragon Age inquisition soon and this time finish dlc's (bought all dlc's but never played them).
Also i tried Nier: Automata on ppls suggestions and refund it (The only game on steam i ever refunded with a library of over 500 games). That game is not rpg.
