The new cooler should probably make a bigger difference and i would recommend a bigger cooler anyways. Also make sure that if you are overclocking you don't have to much voltage. (More Voltage = More Heat)

Why are my MAX and AVG temps the same on overclocked or stock settings yet I still yield better performance?
At 3.7 GHz Boost Clocks, my AVG FPS on GTA 5 is about 43, with sever micro stutters with temps maxing out at 100+C
At 4.00 GHz though, my AVG FPS becomes 55 and less micro stutters but temps are still at 100+C
