Hello! I am new to this forum but I have read many posts which solved many of my problems till now . But the problem I have right now , I till now have not found out a solution for it . I hope you all can help me out with a solution.

I have a Computer of almost 5 years old with the following specs:
Motherboard: Asus P5G41TM LX
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93Ghz (Stock Cooler)
RAM: 2 GB DDR3 Kingstone Ram 1333Mhz ( which runs at 1067Mhz)
( One of my Motherboard RAM slot is damaged/burnt )
Graphics Card: Zotac Nvidia Gforce GT630 2GB DDR3 Synergy Edition

I recently purchased a 4GB Gskill Ripjaws X
link: http://www.flipkart.com/g-skill-ripjawsx-ddr3-4-gb-1-x-gb-pc-dram-f3-12800cl9s-4gbxl/p/itmd2rys8pgq3keh?pid=RAMD2RYRXBBF4WC8

I installed it and turned the computer on . The computer didn't boot up . I uninstalled the RAM and installed it again but the problem persisted. I then installed the old RAM and when I turned on the PC , it booted up fine . I again uninstalled that RAM and installed the Gskill but the system wont boot up (no sounds , just the fans runs). Again I put back the old RAM and the system boots up. I don't know what the problem is... Whether its the RAM faulty or Compatibility issue with my Processor and the Gskill RAM. I really need a Solution . Please help me guys. :( :(

So its the motherboard's problem and not the Processor ? Because many people ran this RAM on 1333Mhz motherboard and they said enabling XMP gives 1600Mhz . So I have to replace the motherboard or the CPU or both ? Because this motherboard is only compatible with core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad.
