If by sale, you mean discounted prices, they've already had such. For example the 3700X was down to $270 at times (I think I got mine for that much at Microcenter) from an launch price of $330

Sales happen all the time, but you have to be constantly looking out for them.

Yeah I mean like when they release new CPU's the older ones are usually discounted quite a bit. And I mean when AMD themselves lowers the prices not just a flash sale or something from a store. For example I got my R5 2600 for $160CAD when it was usually going for around $250
