Question any ideas as to what the best home security video software to use

There is no "best".

A lot depends on what cameras you use, and where they are placed.

Also, do NOT put too much emphasis on 'motion detection'. That is notoriously hard to get right, and prevent false triggering.

what are some decent names of ones that maybe have some sort of cloud storage or do i have to get cloud storage seperatly ? have you or anyone else ever heard of NCH debut? just wanted to monitor an apartment when im not there or what not

That would seemingly NOT be good for a security camera application.

Monitor the apartment for what? A break in?
Why not something from ADT? Always monitored.
