Hello! Just signed up, now that I got myself a job I want to look forward to saving for a nice king-sized beast of a computer

I am wondering if there is a well spaced and large sized Motherboard that can go Overkill on graphics with 4x 980's(or later releases) and STILL have space for possible additions (Cap card, Sound cards etc etc), and handle the strongest CPU as well as DDR4 and a high potential of ram that can be physically achieved. As well as a Huge case that can manage airflow nicely and keep a hot build cool even with fans, or manageable with liquid cooling.

Not much to worry about as far as HDD/SSD space goes, mostly the PC itself. I want to get the best products for the best build but I want a large case, and spacey.

Any insight on parts, future parts and stuff to keep an eye out for on Black Friday would be appreciated as well. I'd also like to ask if there is a way to get higher ram, like a single 16gb or 32gb stick for usual PC use, like gaming videos editing modelling etc just asking because PCPartpicker and other places advertise motherboards that support ridiculous amounts of ram but no card over 8GB single is supported. So its confusing lol

I think 3x 970's will be better performance and cheaper than 2x 980 (I know I know that 2x 980 is better scaling but it will save 500-600 $, I've searched a lot to link you a review for 3xSLI 970 but no results. See the next link it for 2xSLI 980 vs 2xSLI 970 http://www.hardwareluxx.de/index.php/artikel/hardware/grafikkarten/32776-geforce-gtx-980-und-gtx-970-im-sli-test.html?start=7

1st question - no, there is no Board that can handle the 4x 980s and have space for anything additional. Also 4 x 980 is completely stupid. There is no mainstream software (except scientific calculations) that uses more than 2 video cards. 99% of the games do not use more than 2 way SLI. Even if they do, the scaling is horrible, to such extend, that it runs better with just 2. It is wasted money. Completely. I think you are just overexcited about being able to build a beast of a machine, but you are overestimating your usage. Tell us what do you want to do and we can advise you what to get. No use of wasting money.

I'll suggest looking at socket 2011v3 motherboards which will provide the most PCIe bandwidth for multiple graphics cards. 16GB modules od DDR4 are available but at about $350 per module (I found no matched sets), I'm wondering about the financial responsibility of that ($1400 for a quad channel setup is nuts IMO). Not to mention no guarantees of it playing nice in a quad channel configuration (an issue sometimes seen in unmatched ram).
A huge case you may want to consider is the CoolerMaster Cosmos II or perhaps even one of the beasts offered by MountainMods http://www.mountainmods.com/CYO_picker.php

The last line does ask for insight, so yeah if anything don't seem like it'll work well or ultimately be worth while, just say so.
I want to put a lot of ram in it maybe 32-64gb over time, have lots of case-space, and a good GPU setup.
Yes I am a bit excited, but i'm not blinded I'm not looking to dish out $5000 in like 3-4 months for a PC. so for my budget I'll be saving up so I can buy the more pricier parts during sales.

General use is gaming, recording, voice chats, and 3D modelling, excessive multitasking

Forgot to mention I am canadian and am banned from newegg. Long story involving horrid support and PayPal kissing Neweggs backend.

Hows the performance between 3x GTX 970's over 2x 980's?

Here's what I came up with alongside the help of a friend the past week or so prior to posting the question. Which isn't quite being answered or having insight added very well. First post was insulting 2nd was reasonable, 3rd was quite helpful in answering the case portion.

http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/tzJyLk (all set to NCIX by my default, except the Ram) No monitor, no HDD, and no OS I have HDD's with an OS already. Keyboard is too expensive for my actual taste.

Are there any places known to do custom cases?
I.e: white case Heart window- color: pink/red

That is a lot of money to spend on a keyboard lol!

You are going to need a stronger PSU to power those GPUs. I would go with a 750 Watt minimum, also gives you extra headroom for OC'ing. I would also stick with the h100 CPU cooler its newer version than the one you picked. Both will work perfectly fine but the H100i would be better for performance and noise wise. Because it has two 120m fans instead of just one 240m fan in the H80i

What a such too expensive CPU without price/performance !! Why getting 5960X when it higher 500$ when it's 15% higher performance than 5930K !! the Core i7 5960X and X99 It's incredibly expensive as a platform to upgrade to, and with some of OCing the 5930K will get that performance easily !

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-core-i7-5960x-haswell-e-cpu,3918-5.html

And see a lot of reviews proof that CPU doesn't deserve that money in here [Link]

In addition to that PSU isn't enough for that PC, the cooler too you can get a better performance with H100i .

Very expensive KB with a good mouse !

at last, if you don't want to waste your money get my last build but with changing (Case) to that one in your build and remove the aditional fans

My Regards
Anton...
