Hey Folks

I have a question:

I have an LG 42" LN 5400 tv. LG says native resolution is 1600 x 1050. I also have a Samsung 2253bw (2ms) - 1600 x 1050 max resolution (hey its 6 years old), I just swapped GPU's from an ATI 6870 to a GTX 760 (4GB),

SO here's the question:

I can not go higher than 1360x768 on the tv without getting fuzzy green lines everywhere, or a shimmer across the screen.

The computer monitor is connected via DVI and the tv via HDMI.

So the card should be more than able to handle 1600x1050. Currently the tv shows a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Any ideas how to get there resolution up?

BTW: In DA-I, I have the display option for up 75hz unlike the computer monitor stuck at 60hz.

Thanks.

I did some checking.

While both handle 1600x1050 easily. the problem is in the refresh rate. Samsung refreshes at a rate of 60 hz, while the tv refreshes at a rate of 24. everything goes clear, at 24 and 1600x1050. which makes me wonder why they say its 120hz trumotion, if its only refreshing at 24.
