Any ideas why my screen looks like this?

as you can see the font is terrible it'ok for watching films but not great all round any help?

the connection is dvi to hdmi pc to tv

I don't see a problem? Is it a problem with the monitor? If so, you need a picture from a digital camera, as a screenshot doesn't display signal distortion from the cable.

Looks fine to me.

As stated you need to use a camera to take a picture. It should be a high resolution picture too.
