Hello tomshardware warriors! Long time reader, first time poster here looking for some comments about my planned build (first pc build but I've repaired many RROD XBOX 360's).

I will not be doing any significant gaming maybe just a bit of ACIII. My main use for this build will be video editing and compositing, photo editing, and other general work within the Adobe Creative Suite. This will be my main workhorse, but as I am merely an advanced hobbyist at this point, I am not looking to spend thousands of dollars on this build (I'd like to keep the total cost at or around $1200).

I am aiming for a compact-ish microATX build. This is what I have planned:

Fractal Design Arc Mini MicroATX Mini Tower
Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core
Asus P8Z77-M Micro ATX LGA1155
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-1600
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM
Samsung 830 Series 128GB 2.5" SSD
Asus GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB
Corsair 750W ATX12V / EPS12V

Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer

Thanks for the help!

No overclocking. Is my psu too powerful? I will probably add a RAID array in the future. I picked a 750w one because of the recommendation that the system run at 30-70% of the psu's peak output.

Edit: I guess I should've included this form:

Approximate Purchase Date: Within the next few weeks.

Budget Range: I'm looking to spend around $1200-1300 (preferably closer to $1200)

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Video editing, photo editing, compositing, general Adobe CS use.
