I have a long wait until I can get internet in my new flat and am in desperate need of a physical/Ethernet connection to my pc for work. Anyone know of any good options or if there are hot spots I can buy that will allow this? I have seen people recommending dongles with a normal router.
Thank you!

Many Asus routers support a USB modem for 4G access. Here is a list of supported modems -- https://www.asus.com/event/networks_3G4G_support/
If you can use any of those modems, then you can use an Asus router to provide standard WIFI and ethernet.

There are also a bunch of hotspots that support ethernet connectivity.

I'll split up my recommendations because of the st00pid THG spam filters. 🙄

Netgear has a bunch of options, inclduing cradle adapters for mobile hubs/pucks;

Including a coming 5G option MR5200 (although know that it's near-term "5G" support not truly next gen 5G but basic Sub6 [although bands not detailed yet] plus HSPA/LTE etc), supports 802.11ax WiFi6;

...next HTC...

(tried to fit the next two in together... but nope doesn't like HTC, likely not a paid THG sponsor 🤨).

TP-Link 4G/LTE options (lower category support for LTE (so slower max LTE speed, also slower 802.11ac speeds) ;
https://www.tp-link.com/ph/home-networking/3g-4g-router/

All 3 mfrs have gigabit ethernet options.
Just depends on the prices and features you want, definitely netgear has the most options to cover the spectrum of price vs features.

Of course you can alwys use a router that a cellular USB input, but be sure that it knows how to support & manage the type of mobile USB stick from you provider, not all of them place nice wih each other, especially for signal drops, etc. Many of the non-dedicated routers treat USB cellular connectivity as primarily fail-over for hardlines, so their dedicated mobile support can be iffy.

And last but not least (especially in the looks department)

HTC 5G;
https://www.htc.com/mea-en/5g/htc-5g-hub/

Again near-term "5G" NR bands 41 & 78 (TD2500/3500) +3G/4G etc, but only supports 802.11d WiFi, not ax (which still includes AC but only adds fast short range d not x. Nice display for activity monitoring though.

Jebus !! it was the 802.11a + d together that freaked out the GD filters, as if spammers were going to include that word. 🤬
