Any news on next generation GPU's?

Hey all,

I was wondering what's the current news on next generation GPU's? I haven't been following up on the news for the last few months, can anyone help keep me updated?
Since I'm using a HD4870 512MB right now and I'm looking forward to replace this with the next "real" upgrade.

It's already out I thought. Isn't the GTX 295 or 4870X2 a real upgrade from the 4870?

As I said in the other post, the 5870 and GTX 380 are expected to wipe the floor with the current generation (think of the leap from a 7800GTX -> 8800GTX). I'd wait for now before making a move.
