Any news on Vega's pricepoint and which GPUs they are competing with?

My budget is ready but people keep telling me to wait for Vega instead of getting a RX 480.

Any ideas of the prices of Vega and will they be competing against the 1070,1080 and TitanX or will they have a Vega in the RX 480 price range as well?

There is going to be some news on the 28th, AMD is going to be showing Vega and some Raven APU's.

supposed to be high end competition but no idea of pricing or performance.

makes no sense to replace the 460/70/80 they just put out not too long ago. they are seated and priced fine for now. it's only a month now so unless your need is very high, why not wait it out and see what happens.

but if you are only thinking of a 480, then it is likely nothing vega puts out will fit into that budget range. i doubt we'll see a 1070 level card for the price of a 480. why do that to the successful 480?

and nvidia is ready to jump right on them with the 10 series TI cards lol

but yes in a few days will hopefully know a bit more

theres also the rumour of a rx560 and rx580--which wouldnt be a vega card but still better than a rx480 presumably
