They are also on ebay for around $200.

Yes Verizon does have them for sale, but I can't do the "New every 2"
yet, and I don't want to renew my contract either, so I'm looking to
pay full price on it.

I would look on Ebay. Make sure it says new.
I got my daughter a new VX6000 on there.
