I have around 500 dollars (that is flexible within reason) to upgrade my PC within the coming months. In the current gaming environment, what would be the best upgrade(s) to my PC you would recommend? Should I wait? I can currently run most games at 1080p medium, 1440p low, but I'm wondering if I should future proof now if any unseen price hikes arrive or if waiting is a better option. My current setup is listed below.

Thanks for any answers!

Nah, you're fine. Trying to upgrade the ram will lead you to upgrade the board will also lead you to upgrade the CPU - Alice In Wonderland spiral. You're fine as is. I would change the PSU to something more reliable and leave it at that. You can change the GPU when you've reached unplayable levels, IMHO.
