Any pipe smokers? rate my pipe

Had nothing better to do, so I got some pear wood, and carved my self a pipe, even though i dont smoke pipes, but was a fun project.
Tools needed were, a drill, handheld saw, carving knife, sandpaper, some leather dye to give some color to the wood, and some beeswax to give a little shine.
Took me around 8 hours, but was quite fun.

I couldnt tell you, since I dont smoke them Ive only red that briar is relly dense and can withstand the heat, and also absorbs some of the moisture from tobacco so it smokes better. But thats just what i read. I guess its the most popular wood type for pipes for a reason 🙂
