About to get to building a new PC once September / October come around and the AMD and NVIDIA cards come down (or i see price of next gen)
Looking for input on possible better / more cost effective areas to improve!

purpose :

4k gaming eventually would be nice; but I'm okay with holding out on that for now.

Monitor: LG ULtraGear 32" QHD Gaming monitor X2
Case : THOR V2 ATX Full Tower "

1)TUF B550 Plus WiFi II, instead of the X570 one.
2)Cpu cooler is missing... or you plan to carry over the one you currently use. The stock coolers don't work well with high power use gpus.
3)64GB of ram is overkill of overkill. Step down to 32GBs, or even 16GBs... though some game mods out there have the potential to exceed 16GBs if you stack enough of them. IF that's something you mess with.
4)1TB SSD not necessary for OS only drive. 500GB SSD and save the difference, or spend it towards something else - like the cpu cooler.
5)Pricey 2TB drive. Alternative: Crucial MX 500 2TB.
6)Rosewill Thor V2 has a gpu limit of 330mm. The current selected gpu is also 330mm. Can't guarantee that will actually fit when you get around to installation. To be on the safe side, look for 329mm or shorter models.
7)Psu is a little up there, but Imma take a neutral stance on this one - Asrock's recommending 900w anyway.
