Any reason to get a sata III enclosure for a 7200 rpm 3tb Baracuda?
I need another 3tb external drive. Last time I used a Seagate Barracuda 3TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb HD and a Rosewill sata II (usb 3 & eSata) case. There were hardly any 3tb compatible cases at the time and I reasoned that a SATA III 7200 rpm drive could not push enough data to out pace sata2 unless configure in raid0 or for ssd's.
I am happy w/the rosewill's big quiet fan and flawless performance. Should I get another Rosewill case or, now that some are available, could I get more performance fro a SATA III case?
Thanks
