Any reason to upgrade?

Evening, just quick question about my current setup

Mobo: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K OC 4.3 custom watercooled
GPU: EVGA 980 ti SC OC as well
Ram: CORSAIR Vengeance ddr 3 8GB
Storage: SSD 3 of them to be exact.
Wins 10 64 bit

I play at 3440x1440 with Acer predator, most guns runs a solid 60 few drops here and there but not everything maxed out.

My question is should i upgrade? is it time? Maybe CPU or a new 1080? Im trying to run every game at its highest settings and upcoming games as well, especially Mafia 3.

Definitely not worth upgrading your CPU, however if you really want to go nuts the 1080 is faster and your system can handle it. It will eliminate any of those hiccups you see and give you additional performance.

Defo keep it. Do not upgrade yet. A 1080 is good but not the time. Maybe 16GB RAM?

More ram would make a difference in gaming? FPS wise?

Not really no. It can help out with occasional slowdowns you may run into in some games but its not going to make a huge difference.

The 1080 is the best bang for your buck upgrade.
