What WiFi adapter are you currently working with? Perhaps try and press the WPS button on your wireless router when you're trying to login using the PIN.

Very likely that the drivers for your adapter were either corrupted or the update caused a corruption in your OS that corrupted the drivers. Would you happen to have an ethernet cable at hand to hook up to your LAN port?

as soomn as I reset my windows pin I got my wifi back, but just a standerd motherboard wifi chip, everything is back to normal now, its just it was a pain in the but to do.

You should not be using WPS to begin with. You want the feature completely disabled. Many people think it is only active when you push the button but that is not true if the router actually follows the required standards. It will accept the pin all the time and the pin is easily cracked with a simple cell phone program. What is worse is most routers it is impossible to ever change the pin so once someone gets it you pretty much have to put the router in the trash can......or you can just stop using WPS.

Its not like its hard to key in your SSID and password key. You only have to do it one time on most devices.
