Hi I am building my first pc. I have gone with the MPG Z790 Carbon WiFi II, Lian Li O11 Vision and i9-14900k. I am considering using the Lian Li Galahad II LCD SL-INF and 64gb Corsair Dominator Titanium (4x16gb sticks) a 4070 Ti Super, a 2tb samsung 990 pro and an 8tb seagate barracuda. This build will be used for gaming, bug bounty, and other cybersecurity tasks. Are there any recommendations on what I should do differently or does this build sound solid for it's intended needs

The Intel 13th and 14th gen chips are not recommended now due to the instability problems. The corrective patches and micro code updates are not verified yet

I would suggest the 7800X3D for gaming. If you need more cores for your other tasks, the 7950X3D.

I would also suggest 2 x 32gb sticks instead. Better chances of running at higher speeds.

Something like this maybe?

2x32GB memory kit. You didn't mention a speed, but getting 4 sticks working at high speed isn't likely.
14700K (only 4 e cores less)

And if you haven't been paying attention to the news, 13th and 14th gen Intel processors have a known issue. A BIOS update was released in August that you need to install first thing. Prevents excess core voltage and CPU degradation.

Alternative would be a 7900X or 9900X from AMD. 7950X or 9950X if you really need the thread count.

I'm not gonna lie. I already received my mobo and case. And the ram I planned on would be clocked at either 6200 or 6400. I'll swap to the 4080 super and I'll take the 2 stick recommendation. Also besides a powerhouse of a machine, I am going for aesthetic. That's why I got the O11 Vision
