Hi all!

I am currently looking to buy me just the gaming tower with a budget of $1,000 USD. I am hoping to play games like Ark Survival Evolved, Skyrim HD, Fallout HD at max graphics smoothly. Any help on this would be much appreciated!

Hey there,

Is it just the PC machine itself? You have monitor, keyboard, mouse etc? What res monitor will you use? 1080p, 1440p?

Where do you shop? Is pcparticker an option? Can you build it, or are you looking for a prebuilt or custom build?
Yup just the machine, I have the rest and using a 1080p screen. I am in California and looking for any build or I can build it myself too. Thank you

Okay,

1080p 144hz, or 60hz?

Something like this would be solid:

@Why_Me is my go to user for PC builds. They may be able to spruce up this build or offer an alternative, but it's pretty decent gamer for 1080p high settings, and mostly high hz/fps.

Any aversion with an AMD based system? You can get similar performance with a 5600x and B550 mobo.

i'd swap out a 6700xt for that 3060. same money and a lot more performance.

you could go AMD with a 5600x and end up somewhere around here. tweaked a bit and dropped price a bunch leaving room for some storage which is missing from the build.

You are in California. Go visit a Microcenter. It's generally cheaper than Amazon and they have serious in-person coupons and sales you won't get online. With a little research into exactly what is and what isn't good equipment, you'll most likely walk out with a better pc than shopping parts individually. And for a minimal fee you might even get it built for you, which is often cheap insurance since if anything fails, it's on them.
