Any recommendations on what Graphics Card to choose?

Hello, I am looking for a decent graphics card that can play most games at a high resolution. My budget is around $200 to $250. I was going to go with a MSI GTX960 2GB but I have read stuff that the R9 280x is better. I just wanted to know what graphics cards you guys recommend.

Here is my build (if needed):
Case : NZXT H440 Matte Black and Red
Motherboard : ASROCK Z97X Killer Fata1ity Motherboard
RAM : G Skills Ripjaws X 8gb (2x4GB)
CPU : Intel Core i5 4690k
CPU Cooler : Cooler Master: Hyper 212 EVO

yes,for that money you can choose between the 280x or the 960,i really don't like amd,they let me down 2 times,but still,the 280x still better imo.

i had the 280x,and it crashes all day long,upgraded to 970,much much much better now.

if you are not going to sli/crossfire,then i would get this psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094,to save money for the gpu,and get the 970.

yea r9 280x is better most cases ur psu is enough i hope but 960 still a beast 1080p slightly better is the r9 280x

Do you thing a corsair cx600m is good and has enough power to power my components? Also I think i'm gonna get a MSI Gaming GTX970 4GB.

970 is more for 1440p but it will last you a long time and not need to upgrade for 1080p ggggg

For under $250 could you also get a r9 290 which is a good gpu too.Would you still be able to get a decent psu in the system,i wouldn't go for the cx600.

Which country?
Is the pcpartpicker applicable?
Want to go for two gpu's in the future? crossfire or sli.
