Judging by your motherboard I'm just going to assume that you have a Core 2 Quad 9550 or a Core 2 Duo E8xxx running. In that case the best card would probably be a GTX 960 or R9 380. Of course that's without knowing what exactly your current rig is.

You also might want to go with the R9 280x. It sees quite a performance boost over the R9 380, considering that they're the same price. I'd go with the 380 between the 380 and the 960 though.
