I'm helping someone work on a trivia audio quiz which is to tell a
story. We need suggestions for songs that contain any of the
following sound effects:

Doorbell ringing
Knocking on a door
Police siren

Life in detail, by Robert Palmer. The first few times I listened to that
tape (it was either the Pretty Woman soundtrack or Say Anything), I
looked in my mirror to find out where the cop was!

"Magic Dragon Theatre" with Utopia (Todd Rundgren) on their "Ra" album. The
whole thing is recorded with one these stereo heads, so it gives quite an
experience in head phones. The knocking is in the middle section.

"Joe's Garage" with Frank Zappa, from "Joe's Garage, Act I". (It's towards
the end.)

I'm not 100% sure, but I seem to recall that are some sirens in
Ry Cooder's "Down in Hollywood" on his "Bop 'till you Drop". That would
be in the middle section.
