Any Suggestions For A Low Budget BF4 Rig.

My budget is as low as possible. (>£500 would be nice)
I want to run BF4 at 60fps at 1080p, I don't care about graphics quality or anti aliasing. (I'm fine running everything on low) I also have a whole lot of questions as this is my first full build)

First off, can anyone suggest parts?

Intel or amd? (How many cores? what ghz?)
Nvidia or amd? (How much video ram? What ghz?)
How much ram? (what speed?)
How big of a psu?
Would an ssd help in game?
Would an older gpu be a good idea? Or is it best to go with a newer but lower spec? (I was thinking like a 560ti)
What OS should i use? I prefer to use Windows 7, but i heard that 8.1 performs better in games?

AMD FX6300 or (Athlon X4 760k if you are on a super tight budget)
2x4GB (8GB) of DDR3 1600 or higher, there are usually deals on 1866 memory.
If you can afford a GTX 650Ti or Radeon 7770 (7790 is also a possibility) (Note BF4 was optimized for AMD graphics) Should get you 60FPS on low settings

An SSD only helps game loading performance, a standard hard drive is fine.

Shouldn't need more then a good quality 400-500W quality power supply if you don't plan on upgrades.

Very minor changes between Windows 7 and 8/8.1 not a huge factor in games.

Apparently I'm blind, I'll slap one together for under 500.

samsung hdd's arent the greatest from what ive heard but i could be wrong and 430w is pushing it a lil close in my opinion. but overall a good build. either mine or eximo's would do the trick

Went for a smaller hdd, took out the optical drive and dropped down to the 6300 (Don't the the extra 0.4ghz will be that big of a deal), managed to save enough money to get a 7790

Why not download Windows 7 from a USB and get the Sapphire Radeon 7870 2gb instead? It might be wrong to not buy it but maybe you can buy it later. The 7870 2gb is 119 pounds on Amazon and is MUCH better for games like BF4.

if you have a pc now that has windows you can copy and reinstall it on the new pc as long as you have the original auth key. its able to be put on up to 5 pc's legally. then yes the 7870 is better or 7950 is around the same price.
