Hi everyone,
Im new here and im just piecing together a new computer build, my first for 6 years,
i will require this build for work purposes (databases, vb, python, cad) my own creative purposes (blender) and to scratch my gaming itches (mostly strategy type games, xcom, civilization, simcity etc, and the odd fps and rpg) ,unfortunantly i dont have a very big budget, and as such i have based my build around best value/$ threads i have found on the here and on internets, i do not really care if i use nvidia or ati gpu, intel or amd cpu. i have a small 1080p samsung hdtv that i currently use/will be using as the monitor.
my thoughts on my build: I will do a slight over-clock. But I want this machine to be stable, I may crossfire in the future, this will require new psu. Im a little worried about the stock 500w psu that comes with the Thermaltake case being enough to power the single radeon 7750 2gb and the rest of my components, all i have read suggests the radeon 7750 has minimal power requirements, and should be fine. but i am not completely sure.
This case should have enough clearence for the cpu cooler and has ample space for the radeon.
i am located in Melbourne's Northern suburbs, australia. i have given myself a not set in stone budget of AUD$800.
any comments on my build or suggestions on how i can improve this build would be appreciated.
