any suggestions on build welcome

Hello!

I'm finalising my build and getting ready to order.
I currently use a 24'' 1080p screen + a 17'' 4:3 screen as secondary
but will potentially upgrade the 24'' screen to either a nice 27'' IPS or a 'cheap' Gsynch model (24'' probably)
this is what I'm going for.

CPU: i7-6700k - 340€
CPU Cooler: Scythe Mugen 4 (already owned)
GPU: Inno3d iChill x4 GTX 1070 - 480€
MoBo: Gigabyte Z-170A Gaming 7 - 200€
RAM: G.Skill RipJaws V CL15 3000MHz 2x8GB - 75€
Case: Thermaltake Suppressor F31 - 85€
add. Case Fans: 2x Noctua NF-A14 FLX - 2x17€
PSU: XFX TS650W Gold - 70€
SSD: Samsung 750 Evo 250 GB (already owned)
HDD: Hitachi Deskstar 1 TB 7400 rpm (already owned)
HDD2: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7400rpm (already owned)

If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to comment, any advise is welcomed :)

1| Have you double checked if the Mugen 4 is compatible with the socket and the CPU? There were a whole number of people who were scared when they learnt that the old coolers although compatible due tot eh socket's hole spacing were crushing the Skylake processors due to the old mounting mechanism. I would ask you to contact Scythe and see if you require a revised mounting mechanism to use your cooler on the new platform.

2| Drop down the 3000MHz ram to something like 2666MHz sine not all folks can get to 3000MHz with the X.M.P profile and more so when you consider silicon lottery on the IMC. You could reach it through some diligent tweaking in BIOS(with the 3000Mhz) but for a novice you will be okay with lower frequency's.

Are you sure you don't want to go for an matx build? You didn't state where you're located and a budget since it's possible that we could uild you a better system at that price point.

Already bought it.

Mugen 4 is compatible with the board. Scythe lists compatibility somewhere.
3000Mhz RAM was only 2€ more than the 2666MHz so I went with it. Automatic XMP settings gave me a blue screen twice, manually setting up the ram speed worked like a charm.
The iChill waa out of stock, there was an offee in the Gainward Phoenix GS - can recommend it so far
Freaking love the case although it's Thermaltake. Excellent sound dampening, good quality, quite dust proof.
In retrospect, should've gone with a semi-modular PSU, makes things so much easier when assembling. But the 650W TS was 71€ (the 550 was 69 so I thought what the hell) and the cheapest modular quality unit around 100€

And no given the hot environment mATX was out.of the question

Thank you for getting back at this even if.it wasn't fast enough. Cheers!
