I like Pizzathehut's build much better for a pure gaming rig, though I would probably still stick with 16GB of RAM if you want to be running multiple game clients at the same time. If you are doing something else that hyperthreading really scales well with then the original machine might be better for that. Although, depending on your monitor the dual 970's might end up going to waste anyway especially if you're just using a 1080p 60hz regular office type monitor.

Either way, they are both pretty nice builds and are both way up there on the performance charts, so it's not like you are going to be disappointed with either one.

Right now I only have a Asus VS247H-P. It's 1080p at 75Hz Refresh I believe? By the end of the year I'll get a second GTX 970 along with a 4K Monitor. But for now I'll be good with my 1080p and single GTX 970.
