Question Any suggestions on other components for a new build?

Hey everyone, new here. I don't know much about computers and building, which is why I came here.
Would anyone be able to suggest some other components for a build I'd like to complete? Will be using this for mainly gaming/streaming occasionally.

Looking for a budget of around $2000-2250CAD (Lower if possible, as this is my max for now).

Motherboard: ??
RAM: ??
CPU: i7-12700k
GPU: RTX4070
Cooler: ???
Storage: ???
PSU: ???
Case: ???

If possible, I can use the SSD and HDD which is already in my current PC, as well as PSU.

I don't have any of the parts yet for the new build, although I thought the GPU and CPU seemed fine for which games I am playing. Hoping there are some options for those.

Thanks to anyone in advance! Would love to complete this build.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You might want to stylize your post with info asked of in this thread;
The community can then move forward with suggestions and perhaps fine tuning suggestions.

You might want to list the specs to your build.

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

What exact PSU are you considering reusing and how old is it?

Since you're getting a K series chip make sure you get a Z series motherboard to allow overclocking. Thermalright's dual tower coolers are a great price to performance option at $35-50. Case, post a few you like the look of and we can point you to the one that's likely to have the best airflow. That will dictate the motherboard as well, or at least the size of it.

Thanks for the response.

For PSU, it's a 750W, and it's quite old at this rate, I'd definitely have to get a new one. Been using it since around 2016-2017.

I'm not really sure of cases to be quite honest. Are there any specific cases that these specs would need? I'm not quite sure where exactly to look for them. I personally don't care of the size or colour, as long as its $50-150 and has RGB or just any colour of lighting inside. Any suggestions for a case+motherboard are good by me though!

I'd at least investigate the following Intel CPUs. I have no idea what prices for them are in your area; some may be on sale. Performance differences would be minor:

i7-12700
i5-13500
i5-13600K
i5-14600K
i7-13700

Maybe you've rejected all of them already?

Cases; consider Lian Li; Phanteks; Fractal Design; Corsair. I'd try to get one that had enough clearance to accept air coolers of at least 165 mm height.

Motherboard; I wouldn't overlook micro ATX boards as long as they are in the mid or upper price tier, not low level. Also might make sense to get a B series rather than Z.

Decide how much this stuff matters to you personally:

Overclocking; it's less significant than in earlier years unless you are doing it purely as a hobby as opposed to productivity.

Noise levels from fans; some people are indifferent

Temps; some people would have a heart attack at 80 degrees. You?

Air cooling versus liquid cooling;

Lighting; some are addicted to RGB and lots of flash.

Never done overclocking before so I don't think I need to worry much on that, but as I said, I don't know a whole lot in the PC world.

Definitely will be air cooling as it's much cheaper. For lighting, honestly I'm not really picky. I'd prefer to have some lighting, but not a huge deal honestly.

Noise from the fans also don't bug me that much as I'm wearing headphones and can't really hear anything else anyways. I'll look into all the other stuff as well

Here's a fairly nice dual tower HSF with RGB for less than $40 - Thermalright PS120SE ARGB CPU Air Cooler, 7 Heat Pipes CPU Cooler,Dual 120mm TL-C12B-S V2 PWM Fan, AGHP 4.0 Technilogy, S-FDB Bearing, for AMD AM4 AM5/Intel 1700/1150/1151/1200, PC Cooler https://a.co/d/g6fUqrm

This is a solid case option - you may want to grab a few ARGB fans for the top and back mount, but it comes with 3 pre-mounted in front. - Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid-tower(PH-EC400ATG_DBK01), Mesh Front Panel, Tempered Glass, Digital-RGB, Black https://a.co/d/d15pHoU
