Hello again people,
So my Nvidia N560GTX Ti is dying on me [getting louder, black squares of different sizes instead of intended textures in atleast one game(Path of exile) after crashing my pc altogether from overheating playing said game, atleast thats what i suspect]. It never crashed on me before, and i didnt notice any increased heat while playing games before the crash. I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations within a price range of 100-120 Euros. Slot is PCI-E, both 6-pin and 4-pin Power inputs are there. I use it mainly for gaming and sometimes watching movies or series.

My other specs are
Intel Core i5 4690K @ 3.50GHz
8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz
Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z97X-SLI-CF
BenQ GL2240 Desktop
931GB Hitachi HDS721010CLA332 (SATA)

Well...hopefully Toms Hardware gets moving again and updates their video card review! It was last updated in June. Honestly, I find their hierarchy chart and recommendations to be key in making decisions about graphics cards.

While true if he was deciding between a 950 and 960 or a R9 fury x and a 980ti, all new cards, the 750ti is a trustworthy card that has been around for quite some time now. It's still a big leap up from his previous 560ti. There isn't much to be debated on his end.

Sorry about the pricing in Dollars didnt see the euros, here is pricing for the UK

Yes, large difference. One is a 750 and the other is a 750ti. The 750 is a slower card and has 1bg of vram whereas the 750 ti has 2gb of vram. The clock speed will also be higher on the 750 ti.

The card below would be optimal seeing as it has two fans to keep the card cooler. It's form the same site you were using earlier: http://www.hardwareversand.de/2048+MB/154870/ASUS+GTX750TiOC-2GD5%2C+GeForce+GTX+750Ti%2C+2GB+GDDR5.article

The first card is much better. The second is not a ti, hence less VRAM. Get a dual fan card ... much better cooling solution for only a bit more.

Thanks for clarifying. I have no idea why i missed the lack of TI on the second one. The last thing I'd need to know, does it consume notably more power? I might run into problems with my PSU.

It is a Superpower SPS-650SP.

750 ti has a lower TDP than the 560 ti. You will be fine, not a fantastic PSU though.

With a 650w power supply you should run into zero issues. The 650 watts is more than enough for your current system.

Yeah i know, people told me its pretty shit already. I bought a pre-built pc back in my younger days (like 7-8 years ago probably) which contained this one. I didnt know any better, but now i do :)

Thanks for the answers, all of you. I will buy the 750 ti when my other one dies. Cheers.

No worries ;) It should handle the 750 ti easily though. That thing draws almost no power @ a 60W TDP :L

I would recommend a higher quality PSU asap though. People undervalue a good quality PSU quite a bit, it's actually starting to worry me slightly.

And no problem, glad we could help. Be sure to pick an answer!
