I am considering the new laptop with:
i7 13650hx
4060 8GB
RAM - Will Upgrade
Storage - Will Upgrade
Monitor - 1ms 360hz

To likely serve as my new gaming laptop since my current one (Alienware M17 [mobo - Alienware 03R2RY]) is starting to slow down a bit after 3 years with (basic specs), i7 8750h, 2070MQ 8GB, [Upgraded] 2x 16GB 3200mhz, 4TB total SSD Storage (2TB PCIE 3 M.2. and 2TB SATA 6Gbps) and I've already had to replace the battery and the storage drive once for it

One thing I have noticed however is that practically every new laptop sits at 15.6" and the few that are made at 16" or 17" are either crazy expensive (to the point it makes the 15.6" size worth it) or a few generations behind (so older chips in the PC like 11th gen). Are there any decent 16"/17" gaming laptops I have missed - (I am open to getting an eGPU as an option)?

Well, after a certain GPU size the laptops tend to get bigger for more cooling. Most mid-range gaming laptops are going to be 15" as that is the most popular size as well.

Maybe take a look at more boutique brand like Sager? You can often find less common configurations there. They pretty much take the same designs that the other OEMs rebrand as their own but in a more neutral style.

What is your budget and expectations on specs for the laptop, besides that you want its size to be 16"-17"? These seem to be the options available on best buy in the meaningful upgrade category to what you have now.
£1500 max. Specs 8GB+ GPU (preferably 30/40series) i7 12th gen or i5 13th gen minimum CPU
RAM and Storage I can upgrade (exclude the price for these upgrades from the actual PC budget)
