I'm looking to build myself an gaming rig, with the power to play most/all games on a 1440p 90-100Hz Monitor, at max settings.

Here are the components and i would love to hear any tips or changes to the build.

GPU:
MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Duke 8G OC

CPU:
AMD Ryzen 7 3800X 3,9 GHz

Motherboard:
ASUS TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI)

RAM:
Corsair Vengence LPX DDR4 3000MHz 2x8GB

PSU:
Corsair RM750x 750W 80+ gold fully modular PSU

SSD
Samsung 860 QVO 1TB

Tower:
Phanteks P350X Tempered Glass

Also, if you have recommendations on cooling and new fans, then feel free to tell me. Along with a sweet monitor.

Nice system!

It's a good deal more powerful than my 2700X|FlareX DDR4-3200|EVGA 1060 6GB| MSI 32" Curved 1440p 144hz| OG Samsung 820 120Gb SSD + 500GB ADATA SSD| Other Generic Parts| system and I have 0 issues (Maybe my 1060 is getting a little long in the tooth) so you'll crush just about everything.

Whats it's primary use gonna be? (Other than gaming that is lol! )

I guess it comes down to if you are getting the best prices for your overall budget vs the hardware itself. I can't remember the site I saw the review on, but that particular 2080 got a very favorable review.

Definitely get this instead of 3800x the 3800x is a really damn weird option so get this for sure https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ee-20&linkId=e54ef97271aec733ea6c6cdd1708c530 and you can use those 50bucks on something else such as this ram https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ee-20&linkId=3e1a8f05b2d7f91684bbfe285be26c4d...

You will get more performance out of getting this ram than that r7 3800x.
Also, the 3800x has got higher TDP (wattage).

I would personally get that 3700x and maybe get some AiO cooler like this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B...ee-20&linkId=6c9972a9550cd1e57ead9bee1eb2874d and leave that Ram you have chosen cuz the stock cooler suck in both visual and colling way.

Just don't go with that 3800x, please!!!!!!!
I also thought about going the Corisair Hydro way. So at least i was going somewhat the right way.

Is the CPU gonna bottleneck the system? or is the upgrade just that much more desirable?

Its definitely not gonna bottleneck it , 3700x is damn good Cpu for gaming even for multitasking stuff like editing and streaming.
Well that 3800x is little better(like 1percent) but it costs more(because of the better cooler it comes with ( that you are not gonna use anyway)) and so you can get 3700x and AiO cooler instead and if you have good cooling you are gonna achieve higher clocks so it will turn out that the 3700x option is actually better.
If you would go with that 3800x you would just waste your money cuz it comes with a more expensive cooler and 0.1Ghz + clock which you can get easily with 3700x and good colling. That's just how ryzen work the cooler it is the faster it runs

pls if you are going to buy it go thru this link it helps me a lot

Do you have a recommendation on a monitor?

Monitor somewhat of depends on what kinds of games do you play.
If you play many fast paced competitive shooters then a 1920x1080 with refresh rate of over 165hz,
If you prefer slower paced games like rpgs then 4k 60hz.
2560x1440p with +100hz is a good middleground.
