Any Tips for R9 290's in Crossfire?

Hello there,

I am going to purchase 2 reference R9 290's (One is already ordered and the other will be soon). Yes, I know they'll be extremely hot and loud, and I can deal with it.

I was just wondering if there are any helpful tips that can improve the performance and usability of 2x R9 290's in Crossfire? Both software and hardware improvements.

you can water cool them both with a nzxt kraken g10, corsair h55, and the gelid heatsink. I did this on a pair of 7950s and it was a huge improvement over the HIS turbo cooler that was on it to begin with and those are already great coolers.
