any way for my very bad computer to run games?

my trash computer only has a 1.9ghz processor and 16mb of video ram, any way to run games ( like games from 2008)

Which CPU is it specifically? What about the rest of the system? memory(RAM)? HDD? etc...

my computer is windows 8 with an AMD A8-400M APU with radeon HD graphics 1.90ghz,
4.00 installed ram (3.46 usable )

add 4g more of ram and a used video card like the 950 or 1050 gpu.
