Any way to add my password to voicemail dial number?

On my old AT&T account with my Nokia I could add 2 pauses and then my
password to the end of my voice mailbox number so that I would not
have to enter my password everytime I call my voice mailbox from my
cell phone.
Is there any way to do that with Verizon and a LG-VX6000? The voice
mail number shows up as *86 and that obviously is not my number. Can I
just add some character or something plus my password to the end of
that so that when it calls my voice mail it will enter my password
automatically so I dont have to enter it?

Yes. Add the characters (phone specific) for pauses, password, etc.

But that is what I am asking. Does anyone know what specific
characters one would have to add in order to accomplish this on a
VX6000? I can't find it any where in the manual.

Ahhh. Now that you mentioned you have a VX6000 I'm sure
you will get a response from someone who knows. -:)

Here's a recent response to a similar question about the VX4500
series.

I mentioned it in my first post. Below is a copy of it...

It's worth a shot. Thanks. I'll give it a try.
