For XBOX is there any way to increase max. incumbrance after starting
the game? I have 250, but with full steel armor and an axe and bow I
can't carry much more. As my heavy armor rating goes up will they be
easier to carry?Thanx.

get your strength higher, or get something with a feather spell.

no, but as your strength goes up, then you'll be able to carry more. in
the meantime use of fortify strength spells, potions and especially
constant effect enchantments is strongly recomended. feather is also
useful, but in most cases won't work as well as fortify strength

remember that as well as your armor you can also enchant shirt, pants,
belt, two rings and an amulet
you can also enchant a robe, but only if you don't mind it covering your
armor

Don't forget that Female characters as well as anyone else can wear a
Skirt/Kilt that can be enchanted as well... Exquisite Clothing and
Jewelry items will hold the strongest Constant Effect or other
enchantments.

Set a Mark spell next to the "Fields of Kummu" Shrine and it will reduce
your characters encumbrance if I remember correctly, by 200 for most of
a game day. Then use an Intervention Spell to get back to someplace
with a quick mode of transportantion. Granted you'll need One or More
portions of Muck to get a blessing, place any extra portions of muck on
the rock next to the shrine to keep the Shrine from taking them ALL when
you seek a blessing. Also there are a number of Muck Sponges on a small
island near the shore just south of the shrine...

If you can access the Morrowind Console by pressing the ~ key AND you
don't mind Cheating, you can make your character's strength whatever you
want... For the console cheat, see below:

Open the Console and ENTER the line below in the console window,
replacing 100 with whatever number you want your characters strength to
be... Then close the console window by pressing the ~ key again.

Player->setstrength 100

I don't remember where I found it, but I picked up an enchanted robe
w/ constant effect feather +50. It really helps. I think it's called
dedas robe or something like that.

The Redas Robe of Deeds -- which also has 25 points of Detect Animal -- is
in an ancestral tomb just South of Molag Mar. The NPC that gives the
quest that this robe is involved in (you must hand the robe over to
complete the quest, but once you're named Archmaster, you have the option
of reclaiming the item) describes the tomb as being "in the side of the
mountain, near an ashlander camp."

A terrific way to increase encumbrance amount is by taking a Daedric
Tower Shield (buy a Golden Saint scroll from Olms Murel (Sp?) in the
Caldera Mages Guild, and retry summoning it via saves until you get one
with a Daedric Tower Shield. Then, Kill it, and before its corpse
disappears (must do this quickly) open its inventory and takes the
shield. Then enchant it with a high strength value CE, something like
1-89 if I remember correctly. Keep re-equipping it until you get a
satisfactory high value, and *poof*! You have an extra ~600 units of
encumbrance! And a nice, high protection, cool-looking shield.

and if you have any fortify luck spells or potions, taking them before
equipping the shield will make the higher enchantment more likely

By the way, you should never enchant an item with feather, because
strength provides a lot more encumbrance and lets you do more damage at
the same time.

Not only is it quite close to cheating -- it's also impossible and
impractical. Even if you get the enchantment to its theoretical (read:
has a minimum value of zero points and has a minimum re-equip time of two
hours) maximum of 89 points, the value added to your maximum Encumberance
will fall quite short of 600. To be fair, however, it _does_ add a very
hefty amount to your maximum Encumberance, and gives you enough Strength
to quickly ruin a weapon in the process.

In essence, this is a cheat that falls well short of the capabilities of
exploiting the RemoveItem or Drop console commands with regards to the
value added to maximum Encumberance and has all the drawbacks of
repetitive summoning to cheat the levelled lists, repetitive re-equipping
to cheat the ranged enchantment system, and outrageous Fortify Strength
enchantments combined.

Not really, since you have to kill a Golden Saint to get it, and that
requires some decent equipment beforehand 😛
