Any way to increase my laptop GPU driver?

Steam/Valve says I need a bigger video card in order to reach the full potential of the games I play, but I have a laptop. Is it possible to increase to GPU so gameplay is better?

Unlikely, most of the laptop have gpu soldered on directly, unless you have a laptop with mxm gpu which I doubt you do.
