Question Any Way to Make Monitor Even Darker

Is there a way to make my monitor even darker than it currently is? Lets say it is at 6/100 brightness, can i modify these values in any way to decrease the brightness of the screen below its lowest setting. I want a very very dim computer screen, any improvement would be good. the dimmest setting is still too low. Where is this computer code stored on a modern computer, I have no idea. Thanks

Is it a laptop or a separate monitor? There are software settings which may make a difference, and depending on the model you may be able to get in to a service menu and adjust with more fine control.

its a pretty standard looking HP windows 11 laptop but would appreciate a general guide not just for this specific model as i would be applying it to every device i will use. Intel(R) Pentium(R) Silver N5030 CPU @ 1.10GHz 1.10 GHz.
