About 2 months ago, I asked my dad if he could upgrade my PC, he asked what was wrong with it (he knows I'm a gamer, and he's okay with it), I told him that my PC couldn't run any modern games, (its an old packard bell ixtreme), he said he would talk to the people who made my brothers old pc be able to run crysis 3,

that was 2 months ago. i keep reminding him, but he keeps saying he will do it, its been going on for ages.

Yes. Without being asked, do this...
Cut the grass
Wash the car
Take out the trash
Make dinner (even if you botch it, the effort counts)

This may or may not help in financing new PC parts, but it can't hurt.

My leverage has always been that I was good at taking care of the machines like lawn mowers and the car... If I could save them money on repair costs, I would ask that they help me out in return. Of course, don't ask every time, you don't want to annoy them.
