Any way to make USB drive look like internal HDD?

I know there are ways to make virutal CD drives on a hard drive, but, cab you make a virtal hard drive on a USB drive?

I'm not sure what you mean by "Virtual CD Drive on Hard Drive" or "Virtual Hard Drive on USB Drive". I think you mean make a "Virtual Hard Drive" and let it act like a USB to Windows? If that's what you're asking (I hope not) than no, there is no way (unless there's 3rd party software I don't know about, which I doubt). Could you elaborate further as to what you mean?

Basically Mounting an ISO image as a drive. Works great.

As for the OP's question about a similar but opposite function for a USB drive. I know of no way to do this. So you're out of luck.

.. why not just disassemble the external USB HDD and connect the HDD directly to your M/B?

Or are you trying to use a FLASH USB drive as a virtual?
