Using their support site, here, make sure you're on the latest BIOS version. What version of Windows 10 are you on at the time of writing? I would highly suggest reinstalling your chipset and MEI drivers and their ilk(listed under chipset in support page) in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

See if that helps.

Memory core procting?

Memory integrity is a feature of core isolation. By turning on the Memory integrity setting, you can help prevent malicious code from accessing high-security processes in the event of an attack. Memory integrity is a feature of Windows that ensures code running in the Windows kernel is securely designed and trustworthy. It uses hardware virtualization and Hyper-V to protect Windows kernel mode processes from the injection and execution of malicious or unverified code. The integrity of code that runs on Windows is validated by memory integrity, making Windows resistant to attacks from malicious software. Memory integrity is a powerful security boundary that helps to block many types of malware from running in Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 environments.

USB mostly built into windows 10 so only way to update it would be on latest version.

ftdi is a chip on your motherboard most likely, they mainly do USB technology - https://ftdichip.com/
the driver itself is probably part of win 10

I assume you don't have any lan cards.

Okay. 1st time i seen a laptop where almost all the drivers are this year - https://www.asus.com/us/supportonly/P2451FA/HelpDesk_Download

you could create a log to see what uses that process to backtrack to see what to fix - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon

I did a clean install of Windows 10 using drivers provided by Windows update only, and now core isolation works. That must mean that I was one of Asus own Windows 10 drivers which created a conflict with Windows core isolation. My money is on Asus own inf driver update.
