[SOLVED] Any way to update fdtibus.sys?

I have a 2020 model Asus 10th gen laptop Expertbook P2451FA. Then I attempt to enable memory core procting under Windows security it says it has failed do to incompatible drivers. Sorry for text is in danish.

FTDIbus.sys is tied to the USB serial converter.

I have all the latest drivers from Asus installed, but that doesn't seem to do the trick.

So what do I do?

Using their support site, here, make sure you're on the latest BIOS version. What version of Windows 10 are you on at the time of writing? I would highly suggest reinstalling your chipset and MEI drivers and their ilk(listed under chipset in support page) in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

ftdi is a chip on your motherboard most likely, they mainly do USB technology - https://ftdichip.com/
the driver itself is probably part of win 10

I assume you don't have any lan cards.

I did a clean install of Windows 10 using drivers provided by Windows update only, and now core isolation works. That must mean that I was one of Asus own Windows 10 drivers which created a conflict with Windows core isolation. My money is on Asus own inf driver update.
