Hey guys! First time posting here, and I was going to ask if there's any ways to make my build a little cheaper, or any better parts for around the same price. I would like to play games like Planetside 2 at around 60fps on medium-high settings, and also Dayz Standalone and games with similar specs at the same. I already have accessories like monitors and Windows 7 so those aren't needed. I'm a bit new to this whole Pc building thing, so any advice would be awesome! If this is in the wrong place in the forum sorry about that.
Thanks in advance,

Solution
for 1 if you dont do video editing or programming you dont need a 4770 go with a 4670k and that way you can overclock as well this saves you 100 dollars off the bat. everything else looks fine i would change the psu to a more reliable one i put a 550w fully modular xfx psu more reliable and still fully modular and still saving money. i changed your cpu cooler to the hyper evo it has slightly less performance but will still keep your cpu cool at a 4.2-4.3 clock

saves you an overall of 109 dollars :)

withthe extra money you could add a ssd or bump up the graphics to a 780

Solution
absolutely no need for the i7, the i5 is more than enough for gaming, and generally gives you no less gaming performance.
the 770 is also overkill for these games, and even the 760 would likely run both of these games at 60fps on ultra.

also if you are not overclocking, you do not need to get a z87 motherboard, and a cheaper b85 motherboard would suffice (if you do want to overclock you also need a k-version processor, and the i5-4670k is a great processor)

everything else is fine. So basically, you dont need the i7 for ANY reason at all for gaming, so go with the i5.

as far as the gpu goes, the 770 is blazingly fast, but again, not entirely necessary for those games, and a 760 would save you some money, and still give you great performance
