Hi, I'm back again, firstly I want to say is that this community has been helpful with my build and it is great. Secondly I want to know, if possible, if there was a way to improve the quality and speed of my computer without any other purchases (which is something I would do in the later future) so that I am navigating smoothing with not only my games, but also by web browsing and watching videos. Again thanks!

Improve? No, not really (you can't overclock that CPU). Keeping it fresh and clean? Yes.

Physically:

  • ■ Keep the ambient temperature cool as you can.
    ■ Regularly use canned air or an air compressor (while the machine is off) to blast out dust/dirt/hair. Dust can restrict airflow or insulate components (generating heat) and can actually conduct electricity (short out components).

Logically:

  • ■ Keep Windows patched/up-to-date
    ■ Run CCleaner regularly to removed temp files and clean the registry.
    ■ Don't install junkware
    ■ Use a credible internet security/anti-virus suite.
    ■ Occasionally run a Malwarebytes / Adwcleaner scan.
    ■ Possibly over-provision your SSD. More on that here
    ■ Let Windows optimize the SSD on a schedule (should be enabled automatically). More on that here.

Hope that helps, have fun!
